Two Villages and a Ferry - Chichester Harbour
This 7 mile walk takes in two of the Chichester Harbour villages, Itchenor (also known as West Itchenor) and Bosham, with a ferry ride in between. It is walkable when the ferry is operating, that is, any weekend from Easter to end September and daily in the summer months.

Amenities available on route: Toilets - are situated in Bosham car park and by the Harbour Office in Itchenor.
Cafés - there are two cafés in Bosham: Mariners and one in Bosham Walk (art and craft centre).
Pubs - there is a pub in Bosham, the Anchor Bleu, and one in Itchenor, the Ship Inn.
Boat trip - there is the opportunity of taking a 1.5 hour boat trip from Itchenor several times a day, most days in the summer months. Phone the Chichester Harbour Water Tours talking timetable on 01243 786418.
How to get there: By car - parking in Bosham is in a large pay and display car park near the start. (There is also a pay and display car park in Itchenor.)
By bus - service No.56, runs between Bosham and Chichester (please phone 01903 237661 for times and fare).
Ferry - (fare payable each way) operates on a seasonal basis, phone 07970 378350 for up-to-date information; it is closed during the winter months.
