Kingley Vale Trail - Easy Access Trail


This trail leads to the finest yew forest in western Europe.

Terrain details: This gently sloping path is well-surfaced and meanders through a mix of arable farmland and woodland.

Ends: as above(Grid reference: same as start point)
Amenities available on route: • Free parking can be found at West Stoke car park just outside the village of West Stoke. Disabled car parking is available. • The site is open all year round, although May to August is the recommended time. • There is a field museum at the end of the trail with permanent displays and more information about the reserve. • No toilets or refreshments are available.
How to get there: By car: From Chichester head north west on the B2178 to East Ashling. After the Horse and Groom pub turn right towards West Stoke and follow the signs to the Reserve. Train information: National Rail 08457 484950 Bus information: Traveline 0870 608 2608
