A well marked and well maintained path around the entire coastline of the Isle of Wight taking in beautiful and varied scenery, cliffs full of dinosaur fossils, fascinating wildlife and welcoming villages and coastal resorts.

Terrain details: On the whole, this coastal walk is fairly easy walking but there are short climbs abd descents when you meet the "Chines" of the west coast and more substantial rises and falls when you cross the chalk downs which run east west across the Island. The path is well signed and maintained. Some parts are actually on roads or promenades and would be suitable for the less able - see guidebook for details.
