Terrain details: The High Weald Landscape Trail has been created to enable you to explore the heritage of the High Weald AONB. The Trail does not always follow the shortest route between two villages but meanders through the landscape to take in the wonder views and the distinctive built and natural features of the area. The trail follows public rights of way which largely cross private land. Most landowners along the route welcome walkers on their land provided that they do not stray from the footpath and abide by the walkers code.
Type of route: Linear
Starts: Horsham Town Station(Grid reference: TQ178310)
Ends: Strand Quay, Rye(Grid reference: TQ917202)

There is a shop located in almost all of the villages along the route and pubs which generally serve food at lunchtimes and evenings in most villages. There are a number of visitor attractions located on or close to the Trail, most open between April and October.
