Edenbridge - Hever - Chiddingstone
A linear walk of just over 6 miles following the route of the Eden Valley walk along the attractive River Eden. The walk starts just off Edenbridge Highstreet, and ends at Chiddingstone.

Terrain details: A moderatley easy route on mostly flat terrain. Part of the route lies along the river bank and can flood, or at least be very muddy at times.

Starts: Market Yard Carpark, Eden(Grid reference: TQ 444 468)
Ends: The Castle Inn, Chiddding(Grid reference: TQ 495 455)
Amenities available on route: The walk can be broken halfway with a stop at the King Henry VIII pub in Hever. Chiddingstone where the walk ends has a pub, tea rooms, and village shop. Edenbridge itself has a variety of pubs, places to eat, toilets, and shops.
How to get there: Parking is available in the Market Place Car Park at the start of the walk, there are also other parking facilities around Edenbridge. Edenbridge has good bus and train connections. Call Traveline on: 0871 800 22 33 or National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 484950.
There is limited public transport options to return from Chiddingstone, however you can either return part of the way to Hever station or continue onto stations at Penshurst or Leigh.
