East Head Circular Walk - Chichester Harbour
A circular walk along the beach of West Wittering and the National Trust sand dune area of East Head at the entrance to Chichester Harbour.

Amenities available on route: Toilets - several in the beach car park.
Cafés - there is a seasonal café in the car park next to the start/ finish of the walk. Alternatively, The Beach House is located in West Wittering village centre and is open most of the year (closed Monday and Tuesday).
Pubs - The Old House At Home is located in West Wittering village near the bus stops.
How to get there: By road - the route begins half way along the beach car park. A parking fee applies all year round but is cheaper in winter (from £1).
By bus - to the village of West Wittering from Chichester (either a No.53 straight to the village or a No.52 which goes via Bracklesham and East Wittering. From the bus stops there will be a walk of about one mile each way to and from the start point. Follow the
road signposted to the beach from the village.
By train - nearest station is Chichester (about 8 miles away).
