A five mile (8 km), two to three hour walk through the heart of the South Downs , following a trail of 13 Chalk Stone sculptures by the environmental artist, Andy Goldsworthy.

How to get there: This trail can be reached by bus from Chichester or Mi d h u r s t . T h e re is a good south coast train service to Chichester which can be linked to the regular no. 60 Stagecoach bus service (half hourly throughout the day Mondays to Sa t u rdays, hourly in the evening and on Sundays and Bank Holidays see timetable on leaflet). The rele vant bus stops are Cocking Hill and West Dean Gardens for the start and finish of the Trail re s p e c t i ve l y.
